Workshops

Our term-time Workshops will re-start in September

Why not book a place on one of our Virtual Summer Coding Clubs?

Our computing workshops are designed to incorporate aspects of the Key Stage Two Computing Curriculum and progress in increasing complexity.

Design, write and debug programs that accomplish specific goals, including controlling or simulating physical systems; solve problems by decomposing them into smaller parts.

Use sequence, selection, and repetition in programs, work with variables and various forms of input and output.

Use logical reasoning to explain how some simple algorithms work and to detect and correct errors in algorithms and programs.

Understand computer networks including the internet; how they can provide multiple services, such as the world wide web; and the opportunities they offer for communication and collaboration.

"Our children at Highfields thoroughly enjoyed their week learning about coding through e2e with Mr Nicholls. Learning about different methods of coding and trial and testing really engaged the children. They loved seeing their final projects and showing them off to the class and Mr Nicholls. Mr Nicholls was superb and explained everything perfectly for a large age range of children from year 2 up to year 6. We will definitely use e2e again in the future!"
School Review

"We've been really impressed with E2E. They continued to deliver my son's After School Club via Zoom once Lockdown began. There were only a few weeks left but sessions continued long after, free of charge - it was a real bonus, gratefully received and enjoyed by my son. Obviously online learning is very different to being in a classroom, but the quality of output from the sessions clearly illustrated that the E2E team and the children adapted well. All children work along with the tutor on Zoom who uses screen sharing to check progress and understanding. Queries are dealt with quickly and effectively and Judy, the tutor, went 'above and beyond' when my son got a bit confused at one point to ensure he got up to speed. The sessions were well structured, fun and children really enjoyed learning as well as sharing ideas and tips. In addition to the Coding Skills my son has developed, the E2E course has been a great opportunity for him to learn, interact and work online - a skill which may become more significant in the future. Thank you E2E!"
